John Rhind is a corporate director with more than 50 years of business and executive leadership experience; over 40 years in oil sands operations. He serves as the President and CEO of Rhind Management Limited, a management consulting firm serving the Canadian oil and gas industry. From 2019 to 2022 he served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Energy Safety Canada, a not-for-profit safety organization, after having served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2017 to 2019.

Sheila Harrison is an accomplished executive leader with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning government, non-profit, and industry sectors. Known for her strategic vision and effective leadership, Sheila currently serves as the Vice President of Policy for the Alberta Forest Products Association, where she leads a team focused on forest policy, environmental policy, Indigenous relations, and sustainability.

Adam is the President of the Business Council of Alberta. He has worked with the founders since Day 1 of the organization to create something new and unique—an organization of business leaders advocating for shared prosperity and a better life for Albertans.

As President, Pathways Alliance, Kendall is responsible for overseeing the organization's strategic direction, the overall coordination of technology, development and external relations on behalf of the Alliance members. He works closely with a steering committee representing the Alliance’s five member companies to advance the Alliance’s goals.

The Women in Mining University of Alberta Student Chapter is the newest chapter under Women in Mining Canada and the only western Canadian student chapter. The group was started in early 2025, with the goal of fulfilling the need for an initiative on campus to encourage and uplift women and all students passionate about pursuing careers in mining. The University of Alberta has a robust and thriving mining engineering community, however WIM UofA aims to increase interdisciplinary collaboration between engineering, geosciences, land reclamation, and any other students interested in the mining industry.
