We’re excited to announce Emily Hicks as the recipient of the 2025 Young Resource Leader Award!
Emily is currently COO and co-founder of FREDsense Technologies where she leads operations and product development. In her role in the company, Emily has brought previous sensors from initial development, through to commercialization, primarily in the utility and environmental sectors. Emily been an invited speaker for Singularity University, The Atlantic and Oxford University. Emily has been a top 30 under 30 in Canada for Sustainability, was the global winner of the She Loves Tech competition in Beijing, China and was recently awarded an Arch award from the University of Calgary for Early Career Achievement
