Locating Wasted Energy: From Lost Gas to Productive Use

Geologic's unique well, facility and infrastructure data & analytics now makes it possible to find emissions reduction opportunities that are also commercial opportunities, and to rank them basin wide. Partnering with PTAC, Geologic applied this approach in a study spanning 170,000 wells, showing that close to $100 million of natural gas is lost each year to venting and flaring. This session shows where that wasted energy coincides with existing infrastructure and growing power demand, and how operators can evaluate the strongest opportunities on both emissions and business value.
