Michele Evans provides leadership to PrairiesCan, the federal government’s regional economic development agency in Alberta.

Michele has been a public servant for over 20 years, holding senior leadership positions with the Government of Alberta in sectors like immigration, workforce, tourism, economic development and health. Before entering public service, Michele worked in the private sector in the pharmaceutical industry.

Michele has a Master's of Health Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan.
