Harshini Anisingaraju to Receive ACR’s 2022 Young Resource Leader Award

We are pleased to announce Harshini Anisingaraju as ACR’s 2022 Young Resource Leader Award Recipient. Mrs. Anisingaraju and her work towards responsible resource development in Alberta will be celebrated at ACR’s Awards Banquet on February 15, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta.

2022 Young Resource Leader Award Recipient

Harshini Anisingaraju was born in southern India, in a city called Hyderabad. By the time she began school, her family had moved to Delhi, in northern India. With this, she is fluent in Telugu, her mother tongue, and Hindi.

In 2003, her family immigrated to Calgary, Canada and she has lived here since. Harshini attended University of Calgary to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

After graduation, Harshini joined the Electrical department at Fluor Canada as an EIT in 2018. She had the opportunity to work on the LNG Canada project and go to the module yards in Batam, Indonesia as a Field Engineer. In 2022, after returning from her assignment, she worked on power system studies for the NARL project before being seconded to United Way in August.

Harshini has been married for three years to her best friend of 13 years. She and her husband love spending weekends in the mountains or meeting friends for game nights. They also recently purchased a new home in Calgary, and are excited to welcome a puppy!
