Women In Mining Inaugural Event

The Women in Mining University of Alberta Student Chapter (WIM UofA) is the newest Women in Mining Canada chapter and the only western Canadian student chapter. The group was created to fulfill a need for a multidisciplinary community on campus to support students pursuing careers in mining and to empower women. WIM UofA aims to create this community by putting on events for students, such as networking mixers, speaker panels, seminars, and more casual student gatherings.
