We are pleased to chat with Cody Rigsby, a proud Métis from Paddle Prairie, joined by his assistant driver, Lorne Bulldog, a member of Beaver First Nation. Together, they represent a growing movement among Indigenous Nations to reconnect with the cultural and historical significance of horses. Across communities, equine programs and facilities are being developed to bring the horse back to the heart of Indigenous life.
