  • Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers - CAPP's mission is to enhance the economic sustainability of the Canadian upstream petroleum industry in a safe and environmentally and socially responsible manner, through constructive engagement and communication with governments, the public and stakeholders in the communities in which we operate.

  • Canadian Heavy Oil Association - is a multi-discipline, volunteer-based, not-for-profit association focused on heavy oil and oil sands projects and development. CHOA's mission is to provide an appropriate technical, educational and social forum for those employed in, or associated with, the heavy oil and oil sands

  • The Coal Association of Canada - represents companies engaged in the exploration, development, use and transportation of coal. Members include major coal producers and coal-using utilities, the railroads and ports that ship coal, industry suppliers of goods and services, and municipalities.

  • U.S. Energy Information Administration - (EIA) is the statistical and analytical agency within the U.S. Department of Energy. EIA collects, analyzes, and disseminates independent and impartial energy information to promote sound policymaking, efficient markets, and public understanding of energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment. EIA is the Nation's premier source of energy information and, by law, its data, analyses, and forecasts are independent of approval by any other officer or employee of the U.S. Government.
  • Energy Resources Conservation Board - (ERCB) is an independent, quasi-judicial agency of the Government of Alberta. We regulate the safe, responsible, and efficient development of Alberta's energy resources: oil, natural gas, oil sands, coal, and pipelines. ERCB's mission is to ensure that the discovery, development and delivery of Alberta's energy resources take place in a manner that is fair, responsible and in the public interest.

  • Gasification Technologies Council - (GTC) promotes a better understanding of the role gasification can play in providing the power, chemical and refining industries with economically competitive and environmentally conscious technology options to produce electricity, fuels and chemicals.

  • International Energy Agency - (IEA) is an autonomous organization which works to ensure reliable, affordable and clean energy for its 28 member countries and beyond. IEA's initial role was to help countries coordinate a collective response to major disruptions in oil supply through the release of emergency oil stocks to the markets. While this continues to be a key aspect of its work, the IEA has evolved and expanded. It is at the heart of global dialogue on energy, providing authoritative and unbiased research, statistics, analysis and recommendations.
