  • Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers - CAPP's mission is to enhance the economic well-being of the Canadian upstream petroleum industry in a socially, environmentally and technically responsible and safe manner. In addition, they have a substantial links page that provides access to further websites.
  • Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency - Report of the Minister of the Environment to the Parliament of Canada on the Review of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.
  • Canadian Heavy Oil Association - CHOA's objectives are to provide an appropriate technical, educational and social forum for those employed in, or associated with, the heavy oil and oil sands industries. In addition, they maintain a library of the technical papers presented at Association sponsored functions.
  • The Coal Association of Canada - The Coal Association of Canada (CAC) represents companies which explore for, mine, use and transport coal. Members include coal producers, coal-using electric utilities, railroads and ports which ship coal, and suppliers of goods and services.
  • Energy Information Authority - The EIA, created by Congress in 1977, is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy. They provide policy-independent data, forecasts and analyses to promote sound policy making, efficient markets and public understanding regarding energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment.
  • Alberta Energy Utilities Board - The EUB site has publications, links to documents and information geared specifically to the interests of Albertans impacted by the energy industry, as well as information on utility rates.
  • Gasification Technologies Council - As gasification gains increasing commercial acceptance, the Gasification Technologies Council feels it is important that potential users of the technology understand its basic characteristics, applications and benefits. On this site, there is material to explain gasification in non-technical terms, the worldwide scope of the industry and the environmental and economic benefits it offers. This site also has an extensive library of papers addressing gasification-related issues on the Internet.
  • International Energy Agency - The IEA is the energy forum for 25 member countries. IEA member governments are committed to taking joint measures to meet oil supply emergencies. They have also agreed to share energy information, to co-ordinate their energy policies and to co-operate in the development of rational energy programs.
  • Office of Scientific and Technical Information - A virtual library of energy, science and technology from the U.S. Department of Energy.
  • Energy.gov - Main website for the U.S. Department of Energy.
